This privacy policy describes the personal data handling practices on kienerw.de. kienerw.de is a personal website on which I share details about me and interesting content related to cybersecurity and data privacy. I do not collect or process any personal data about visitors, visitors cannot register, write posts, nor leave comments. This website kienerw.de is build on the Content Management System WordPress hosted at IONOS and includes the following plugins:
- Shariff Wrapper: This social share plugin provides more privacy for visitors of our website. No personal information is sent to social media platforms, unless you click on a share button.
- Easy Twitter Feed Widget: With Twitter and its Retweet functions, we use social plug-ins from Twitter.com, operated by Twitter Inc. 795 Folsom St., Suite 600, San Francisco, CA 94107. If you use Retweet, the websites visited by you are announced to third parties and associated with your Twitter account. Leveraged plugins do not collect personal data or use cookies. IP (internet protocol) addresses are shortened and anonymized.
According to the above statements regarding collecting and processing of personal data: I do not collect personal data, hence

- I cannot and do not retain your personal data.
Cookies
Cookies are small text files that are stored locally in the buffer of the website visitor’s internet browser.
Visitors cannot register, login, write posts, nor leave comments on our website. Hence functional cookies are not required, and other cookies are not used as well e.g. for marketing.

The website kienerw.de is build on the Content Management System WordPress hosted at IONOS which provide a proven secure foundation. In particular, security patches are applied automatically as soon as available and encrypted transfer of data between your internet browser and kienerw.de.
